Free Open Source Software For Artists
For my cartoons I primarily use the Adobe programs, Photoshop and Flash and occasionally Illustrator. The problem is these are expensive programs. They run over $500 each if you buy the programs outright. Now you can sign up to use them in the Adobe cloud for a monthly subscription fee, which I believe is around $30 per month. But there is another option:
